Wonderful Staff
We had no advance knowledge about the hotel, and it turned out to be a real surprise. The location was perfect for access to Funchal Centre, the rooms we had could not have been better, the staff in all areas were courteous and helpful and the dinners were a menu rather than a buffet.

Fantastic location
(...) fantastic location right on the sea front with a great sized sea water pool. Our room had a good size balcony overlooking the pool and sea and I think all the rooms were very nice and the breakfast was excellent. )

Plentiful buffet breakfast

Its quiet but central location meant that the promenade and center of Funchal were just 10 minutes walk away, (...) our room was a good size and had a large balcony giving views over the gardens, pool and sea. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The restaurant provided a plentiful buffet breakfast including Madeiran fruit and some nice pastries. (...)
